THE WEEKEND IS HERE

Good Friday Morning one and all..have you got a big one planned?

The new Twilight Move started this morning at 12:00 am to sold out theaters and people standing in LONG LONG lines to see the movie..Andrea, (DSO Designer) got her tickets over a month ago and waited in line for 6 hrs in order to get a good seat…WOW those books must be something else, I am going to read them when I go to my daughters..

Friends, please say a prayer for my mom…she is not doing well, she had lab work done and it showed kidney failure in her blood work..she goes to her regular doctor this afternoon and I’m hoping he puts her in the hospital to find out what is going on..she stays in bed most of the time now.

Also say a prayer for my GS Josh, he got layed off on Wednesday and so needs to find a job Now..they just got moved into their house and things were starting to look up for them..and for my GS Chase he has been out of work for a long time and is also trying to find a job.  I know there are thousands out there in the same situation we need to say a prayer for…and we should all be Thankful for what we have, we are blessed.

Today I want to show you my new word art in the store now..

It's A Boy was inspired by my new GGS. I wanted word art to express my feelings for him in my own pages. I'm sharing these with you..there are 20 black expression and 5 done in white shadowed vellum. Last week Kim sent me previews of her newest kit Christmas First that she was working on.. in case I wanted to make word art to go along with it…so I got busy and got my set made hoping I would finish in time for it to come out with her kit..Monday I finished and wouldn’t you know it, her kit was going to be in the store today,  sooo..Kim bless her heart, put things aside and got them thru Quality Control , after a few changes here and there it made in the store with her’s…Thanks Kim, you are the best. I’m really proud of how it turned out,

IT’s FRIDAY THE 13TH !!

I hope the day has not started out unlucky for you!

I have been trying to start this blog since 5 am..but I start to do one thing to get ready and before I know it I’m off on some new project..one thing leads to another..and so on and so on..ever have that kind of day?

I am feeling much better today..the Dr.gave me 2 shots and 2 prescriptions and told me if I wasn’t better by the following Monday I was going to the hospital..so I didn’t get to close to the computer and just layed on the couch and watched TV..I have a kitchen full of dirty dishes, a laundry basket running over and dust bunnies everywhere..the dishes are my project for today, and some laundry if I want clean clothes and towels to take a shower LOL..

Did any of you see the remake of The Secret Garden?  I haven’t seen it either but I was on a blog several weeks ago and they were playing the music from it..I fell in love with it and had to get it…I listen to it all the time when I am working at the computer..some of you might like it..you can sample it at Amazon.com.

I have some new word art in the store today..its called Blessings Overlays

Good morning one and all..hope its going good..

I have a lot to tell you and show you so get ready..

First off I want to wish my dear friend KimB a Happy Birthday today..you are a wonderful person with the biggest loving heart I’ve ever seen..I hope you have a wonderful day, a wonderful celebration Friday night, and a short hangover..LOL

And my fellow CT member and dear friend Renee’s birthday was yesterday so here’s wishing you a Happy Birthday a day late and a dollar short . I hope this year is your best ever and all your dreams and wishes come true.

I went to see my babies Monday night and to try and get some new pictures of Kaylen and Jaxon to scrap with these new kits Kim has out..well Miss Kaylen was so funny..everytime I started to take her picture she would come running to me and try to get the camera because she wanted to see herself..oh she had some fits and made some faces so of course I have to show you..Jaxon was a little angel and went to sleep in the middle of her fits..

 

Kendra’s sister got the camera and made this one finally a good one..lol I don’t guess she cared what the ones she made looked like..just look at this  precious thing..hasn’t he grown..he’s still got those big feet..he’s outgrowing shoes right and left..lol Now every time I start talking to him he just smiles at me and coos and talks to me…I just want to sqeeze him…I can’t wait to keep him overnight just me and him..Im going to rock him all the time..LOL he’s never been rocked!!!

Jaxon looks just like Kendra and her brother..it just kills Josh because he wants him to look like him..LOL

HEY…….WHAT TIME IS IT!!!

Good Monday morn everyone..

How many of you are still running on the old time…I am, it takes this old mind and body a few days to get on track again..For my part I just wish they would leave the time alone and lets have one time all the time..

Did you have a good Halloween?  This is how I spent mine..on the couch wrapped up in a blanket coughing my head off..get the depends..LOL I can’t seem to shake this bronchitis..have a Dr. appointment on Thursday..guess she will give me more meds or put me in the hospital..I am going to fight for the meds at home…I’m  supposed to go to Angies on Sunday for a week.  Hoping I can still make it..

Josh came over Friday night and brought me a hamburger and a hug…made me feel better…I was going to get the kids this weekend but I just couldn’t make it..I don’t know if they took them out anywhere for Halloween or not, they had costumes for them…I hope they made pictures if they did..Josh had to work until 7 so I’m betting they didn’t, I think the little part of town they live in had something for the kids on Sat. so my guess is they went there.

NEW GOODIES

Hello Everyone..Hope you are having a great day so far..I haven’t been up long enough to tell how mine is going to go, but I’m very thankful I woke up and God gave me another day here on earth!!

Last time I was here I told you about my family and being Auburn fans..and showed you some pics of Josh..well I was thinking about all that and remembered I made this layout for my nephews Jake graduation scrapbook..

I bought Jake an Alabama sweat suit and Josh an Auburn one and we took them and had their picture made..Jakes dad graduated from Alabama.the first year he and Cathy were married I knew we would never be friends if we discussed football..lol and we never did!!

Believe it or not, I finally have some goodies in the store…they are a bit different and I hope you like them..I love making frames so I made some frames and word art to go with them…All you have to do is add your background paper, picture and wordart and you have you page made..

FROM RAIN TO COLD IN ONE DAY

Hello Everyone

Hope you all had a great weekend, I spend mine indoors wrapped in a blanket watching TV and sleeping..didn’t feel well and didn’t even get Kaylen or Jaxon for the weekend..You know I must not have felt good LOL

Auburn lost again this week  :( …. we have a new coach this year and a lot of changes going on…I have faith though that we will be a team to contend with next season..I still love em and enjoy the games..I missed having kaylen to watch the game with me..she picked up the word go from me and now she gets right in front of the tv and does her little arm in the air (like her Nana) and says go, go , go…its so cute…then she will run over to me and say, go go go Nana…a memory I will cherish…I had Josh watching games with me when he was 3 months old..I converted him to an Auburn fan, but I could never convert Chase or Andrew, their dads corrupted them to Bama fans… LOL

Kendra is an Alabama fan, Josh told her she could make Jaxon a Bama fan but leave Kaylen alone, her Nana, her Dad and her Meme (Lori) her Aunt Angie, and her cousin Gage are all Auburn fans! 

Here’s some pics of Josh at 3 months and 9 months..I started him out early..the top picture was the day Auburn played Syracuse in the Sugar Bowl..our coach was Pat Dye then, and in the last few seconds of the game he tied it with a field goal,( back then there was no overtime in college games) and that became the first Bowl game ever tied..Syracuse coach sent him a bunch of old ties and he became know as TIE DYE.

I guess its time to stop the football talk and get down to the eye candy business….I am so happy to see Paula back, (PK Doll)she’s been out of pocket for awhile but she is back again and still doing those beautiful layouts of her’s…and we have a new CT member, Lainey, she’s been sending me a lot of new layouts lately with my word art so I told her she needed to be on the team, she wrote back that she would love it..both Paula and Lainey have blogs so pop on over they have freebies for you so pop on over and leave them some love..
